Extension of due date for holding AGM

Section 96 of the Companies Act, 2013 states that a company shall hold an Annual General Meeting  except first Annual General Meeting within 06 (Six) months from end of the Financial Year

MCA, in order to provide relaxation due to Covid-19 outbreak, has extended the due date to 30th September, 2020 for holding AGM for those companies, which are following Financial Year from 1st January to 31st December.
